Tennessee Associated Electric is committed to creating value for our customers and our people.

Tennessee Associated Electric is committed to providing a safe workplace for all our workers. We approach safety from many different levels. We provide ongoing training for all our foremen for changes in OSHA requirements, new technology, and reviews of safety issues from job sites. Our Workmen's Compensation carrier works with us to provide job site inspections. These inspections are key to assisting our field representatives in achieving our safety goals. Finally, we hold weekly job site toolbox safety meetings. The outline form is distributed to our field superintendents who then present the program to our field forces. Each toolbox outline contains a section for all the field personnel to sign. This way we are able to record training of all our field forces.
We have been selected "Environmental Safety & Health Subcontractor of the Quarter" numerous times at the Oak Ridge DOE plants. We have a safety committee made up of field people and management that meet monthly to discuss safety issues and all our employees have had the 10 hour OSHA training course.
